Do you have a special birthday memory? A lot of children in our care don’t or either have a lot of trauma surrounding that time.
Hope Center for Children is here to provide children and youth a safe place to land.
We have two residential programs for youth in foster care and one for young men and women ages 16–21 who have no safe place to live as they transition into adulthood. These programs are their temporary homes, and we aim to make them as comforting and uplifting as possible.
You can help make our youth feel seen, celebrated, and valued by donating birthday-fund contributions to HCFC on Giving Tuesday! All gifts made during our Giving Tuesday campaign will go toward ensuring every young person in our care receives a meaningful birthday celebration—complete with personalized gifts, special treats, and moments that remind them they matter.
Many of our youth have never experienced a joyful birthday, and even small contributions can create unforgettable memories. A typical birthday celebration costs around $150 per child, and with many birthdays throughout the year, community support makes a tremendous impact.
