Hope Center for Children Receives Generous Grant from Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation to Support Children and Families
Spartanburg, S.C. – May 27, 2026 – Hope Center for Children is proud to announce it has received a $10,000 grant from the Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation to support our mission of building stable, healthy families and providing children a safe place from abuse and neglect.
Funding from the Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation will be used to support operational costs for Hope Center for Children’s six cohesive programs. These programs include three residential programs for teens in foster care and homeless youth, and three community programs offering parental education and support and mental health counseling.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation and their investment in providing resources for the families, children, and youth in our care,” said Vernon Hayes, CEO of Hope Center for Children “This grant will allow us to continue providing essential services and create a brighter future for children and families in our community.”
Last year, Hope Center for Children impacted the lives of 2,131 people in our community through compassionate care and support services.
