Hope Center for Children is excited to participate in the 31st Annual Auction for a Cause, hosted by the Uptown Sertoma Club. The event takes place Wednesday, October 23rd at Indigo Hall. This signature event will feature a LIVE Auction and a Kickoff Party, fueling support for vital services provided by local nonprofit agencies, including HCFC.
Event Highlights:
• Kickoff Party & LIVE Auction: Wednesday, October 23rd, Indigo Hall, featuring a Low Country Boil, appetizers, desserts, beverages, live music, and a live auction.
• Virtual Silent Auction: Runs from October 23rd to October 30th, allowing participants to bid directly from their smartphones.
The auction benefits seven key nonprofits that rely on this annual fundraiser to continue their vital work:
• Hope Center for Children: Provides shelter, counseling, and care to children and families in crisis.
• Project R.E.S.T.: Supports survivors of domestic violence with emergency shelter and advocacy.
• Upstate Family Resource Center: Offers education and support to strengthen families.
• Ruth’s Gleanings: Empowers people in nutritional poverty by increasing access to fresh, healthy food.
• Spartanburg Shares: Loans medical equipment to those in need, free of charge.
