According to the Department of Social Services, reports of child abuse and neglect have decreased since the onset of restrictions related to COVID-19. “Without teachers and other mandated reporters seeing children as often, there are fewer allegations of abuse or neglect being reported,” shared Hope Center for Children’s CEO, Vernon Hayes.

With concern for the safety of our community’s children and to offer help and support to parents and caregivers, Mary Black Foundation funded a video collaboration with Hope Center for Children to create a series of videos with advice based on the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).
